for monthly updates to travel in the Pacific Northwest and around the nation!

Over two decades of professional freelance writing and countless articles on a variety of topics has produced a ’flair’ to find the ’story within the story.’

There is no such thing as "ordinary" or "routine." I make stories live! Especially those dedicated to:

  • Human interest profiles
  • Travel destination pieces
  • Stories of the American West (People, places and the characters you find there...)

As a freelance writer and journalist, I have developed an extraordinary collection of contacts, as well as being a member of the North American Travel Journalists Assn. and Western Writers of America, where membership in both organizations is juried. My works are also published in many national and regional magazines and periodicals.

I co-authored the 2010 Centennial Book for the Pendleton Round-Up, along with Michael Bales, which is published by Graphic Arts, in Portland, Oregon, and it is currently in its third edition!

Go to Travel World Magazine for a samples of my travel writing -- or to my online e-zine -- Travel Savvy News, which provides an eclectic choice of travel ideas and opportunities within the USA and is updated monthly. Check it out!

Happy Trails!
